This delay is called the incubation period.

If you got tested too soon after sexual contact, the infection may not yet be detectable.

"Detected"

• This means the test found signs of an infection in your sample.
• It is referred to as a “presumptive positive”. This means the result is likely accurate, but not quantified/ confirmed.

You should speak with a healthcare provider promptly. Treatment may be needed to protect your health and prevent spreading the infection to others.

Confirmatory testing is not included in this service and Randox Health Labs will not be providing additional confirmatory testing.
